Western State University College of Law is a private law school, founded in 1966 in the city of Fullerton in Orange County, California. It is the oldest law school in Orange County, and has produced over 10,000 graduates. Since 1971, Western State University College of Law has produced nearly 170 of California's judges, attorneys and prosecutors which is more than any other law school in the state. It is approved by the American Bar Association (ABA). The school offers full and part-time programs. There are 23 full-time professors who all have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, advanced law degrees and extensive law experience and 42 associate professors, such as judges. It is also accredited by the Senior Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
Chapman University, in Orange, was founded in 1861, and the school of law was established in 1995. The 45 full-time faculty are graduates from top law schools. As of 2010, the Chapman University School of Law website states that 92.5 percent of Chapman law graduates are employed within nine months after graduation. The school is approved by the American Bar Association and it is a member of the Association of American Law Schools (AALS). The school of law has earned a top 100 ranking in the U. S. News and World Report.
The University of La Verne College of Law was founded in 1970. This private law school is located in Ontario, California. It is the only law school in the inland southern California area that is approved by the American Bar Association. The school has 23 full-time experienced law professors and an adjunct faculty of 28 legal minds. The college offers full and part time programs and hands-on experience in actual law firms and courtrooms. The University of La Verne College of Law is also accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The school holds memberships in the American Council on Education, Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities and Independent Colleges of Southern California.

The USC Gould School of Law, located in Los Angeles, California has an outstanding reputation, and as of 2010, the U.S. News and World Report's "Best Law Schools" top 100 list ranks USC Gould School of Law at 18. Its faculty consists of nationally recognized law professors in the areas of constitutional law, administrative law, taxation and bankruptcy. The school provides small classes to ensure that all students have an opportunity to ask questions and participate.
