The University of Georgia School of Law offers both the juris doctorate (JD) and master of laws (LLM) degrees as well as joint degree programs in business, historic preservation, public administration, sports studies and social work. The school also allows law students to participate in concurrent enrollment programs in other areas of specialized study, such as international business and environmental studies. Law students have the opportunity to participate in criminal and civil law clinics as well as the school's moot court and mock trial programs.

Atlanta's John Marshall Law School offers the JD degree program to a student body of approximately 600 students annually. The school sponsors both a moot court and mock trial program and students are strongly encouraged to participate in the voluntary pro bono program. A study abroad program in Micronesia allows students to study government and public interest law in the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of Palau and the Territory of Guam
