Argosy University has five campuses in California. The Los Angeles and Orange County campuses offer accounting degrees. The campuses' Advanced Professional Graduate Business Certificate in Accounting program offers doctorate-level accounting knowledge for those who do not wish to seek a doctoral degree.
The Keller Graduate School of Management is a part of DeVry University. Fourteen campus options are available for this college, and all offer degrees in accounting. The campuses are in Alhambra, Anaheim, Colton, Daly City, Sacramento, Fremont, Irvine, Long Beach, Oakland, Palmdale, Pomona, San Diego, San Jose and Sherman Oaks. Keller offers a master of business administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in accounting. To earn the concentration in accounting, a student must take four accounting classes in addition to his other MBA classes.
The University of Phoenix is known for its online education opportunities, but it also has campus locations. Thirty-eight University of Phoenix campuses are located in California. Campuses are located in the Bay Area, the central valley and Southern California. Eight campuses are located in the Sacramento valley and eight in the San Diego area. Most offer accounting degrees, but the Concord, Visalia, Beale AFB, Lanthrop, Chula Vista, Downtown San Diego and all campuses in southern California do not. The accounting program at the University of Phoenix requires 60 hours of study in accounting subjects, including taxation and auditing.
Four campuses of Westwood College are located in California. The Los Angeles and South Bay campuses offer degrees in accounting. Westwood's business administration degree is offered with an emphasis in accounting and financial management. In addition to general education courses, students study accounting, finance and management.
California College San Diego offers degrees in accounting on campus and online. The course can be completed easily in 36 months, but the college offers an accelerated program that allows students to finish in 30 months. The degree focuses on the basics of accounting, as well as tax accounting, finance, business law and management. Graduates have the required knowledge to test for certifications as a tax specialist or Internet commerce/management specialist.
