As Connecticut's oldest nursing school, BHSN offers diplomas in nursing and associate's degrees for part-time students. The options for the diploma in nursing are an associate's degree in nursing, which is essential before completing any other options, the LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) program, the RN (Registered Nurse) program and the BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) program. BHSN is very flexible in the length of time for completing the nursing program as they offer either an accelerated RN program or a partial evening program to accommodate students with tight schedules. As of March 2010, the cost of attendance for students taking 16 credits is $5,604, and the tuition and fees for 24 credits are $8,236
