Nursing Schools in Baltimore

Several colleges and universities in Baltimore offer programs in nursing. Students can pursue a career as a certified nursing assistant, licensed practical nurse, registered nurse or a more advanced nurse specialist. Certified nursing assistants record vital signs and assist patients with feeding and cleaning. Licensed practical nurses can administer medication, take vital signs and maintain IVs. Registered nurses often manage a patient's case and make treatment decisions; if they have a bachelor's degree, they may supervise other nurses.
