Veterinary Nursing Schools

According to the American Veterinary Medicine Association, veterinary nurses, also called veterinary technicians, can enjoy careers beyond the traditional vet's office. With proper education and training, veterinary nurses can work in the military sector, in diagnostic laboratories, as sales people for veterinary products and in biomedical research. Most states require veterinary technicians to be credentialed and licensed, which can be obtained by successful completion of the Veterinary Technician National Examination.
