Colleges in Danville, Kentucky

While a town of 16,000 like Danville normally wouldn't have a wide variety of college choices, Danville is somewhat unique in its breadth of educational offerings. Danville was the first capital of Kentucky in 1875, and was the site of the Kentucky Constitutional Convention in 1792. That historical legacy continues to make Danville more significant educationally than might be expected, with a variety of colleges that range from a 175+ year-old nationally-known institution to several two-year colleges.
