Located 90 miles south of the main campus is Murray State University's Paducah campus which serves as a satellite location to the main college in Henderson, Kentucky. Limited instruction is available here and is limited to bachelor degree programs in business administration, computer information systems, elementary and middle school education, integrated studies, early childhood education, nursing, social work and special education. The school does offer master's degree programs as well. Some areas of study include nursing, public administration, school counseling and informational systems.
Daymar College is also located in Paducah, Kentucky. The school has a few bachelor's degree programs and other certificate and associate degree programs in more specialized fields including paralegal studies, medical massage therapy and pharmacy technology. The Paducah campus is one of 16 locations in which the college operates. Other locations include other Kentucky cities as well as campuses in Ohio and Indiana. West Kentucky Community and Technical College offers various certificate and Associate's Degree programs. The two-year public college is part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. The school enrolls more than 7,500 students as of 2011 with 69 percent attending on a part-time basis. The school offers both day and night classes. Program offerings here include career paths in business studies, nursing, respiratory care and industrial technology. These departments offer many sub-topic major programs.
Mid-Continent University is located 20 miles south of Paducah in Mayfield, Kentucky. The school offers a variety of Associate's, Bachelor's and Master's degree programs. Online degree programs are available as well. According to the school, they have an average 15:1 student to teacher ratio resulting in small personal class sizes. Degree offerings here include a Bachelor of Ministry as well.
