Texas Woman's University is the largest all-female university in the United States, with an annual enrollment of approximately 13,000. Students can choose between 97 bachelor's degrees, 101 master's degrees and 48 doctoral degree programs. The university enrolls more than 36,000 full-time and part-time students each year. The university is organized into 11 schools and colleges, which allow students a wide variety of majors. North Central Texas College is a two-year, public community college. It was started in 1924. The college also operates additional campuses in nearby Bowie and Gainesville. Students can fill out applications on-line or in person at the Denton campus, but must arrange for transcripts and test scores to be sent. The college also provides low in-state tuition fees for Texas residents. Students can also take advantage of on-campus housing opportunities. Students may earn associate degrees in two years in subjects like education, nursing, and agriculture. Approximately 150 of the courses at North Central Texas College are offered on-line.
