The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University is a third option for a marketing degree and another top-rated program. In fact, as of 2010, the Kellogg School program ranked as the top program for the past 15 years. Faculty members at the Kellogg School are, like Duke faculty members, some of the most prolific in the field of marketing research. The Northwestern marketing program has both a Ph.D. program and a concentration in the MBA degree program. Students in the MBA program can choose specialties from several areas---entertainment marketing, technology in marketing, cultural marketing and the media, business marketing and consumer marketing. The Ph.D. program has two primary areas of focus---consumer behavior and quantitative modeling. The Northwestern program is interdisciplinary; students take courses in other fields such as psychology in order to inform and supplement their research.
