Thunderbird School of Global Management offers graduate programs in Business and Global Affairs. The master's degree in Business Administration focuses on five main precepts: Global Learning Network, Global Mindset, Global Citizenship, Global Entrepreneurship and Global Thought Leadership. Courses include finance, marketing, accounting, and management and international studies. Students must participate in the Career Management seminar, in addition to two developmental activities. In order to achieve an international appreciation, students choose to pursue a course in Europe, Latin American or the U.S., for two weeks. Also, students, for whom English is their primary language, must meet aptitude standards in Chinese, Mandarin, Spanish, German, French, Russian or Japanese.

The Wharton School is known for its business focus and business degrees on the undergraduate and graduate level. The school offers Wharton Global, which focuses on an international business viewpoint. This program's objectives include Global Research, Global Education and Educating Business Leaders. The school's graduate MBA learning community comprises almost 40 percent international students, and offers exchange programs with schools in 153 countries. These include Australia's Graduate School of Management at the University of New South Wales, the Indian School of Business, and Japan's Keio Graduate School of Business. There are also Global Immersion opportunities overseas for a month, after completing five weeks of study on that area. Students may also participate in the Wharton International Volunteer Program, allowing summer travel to Asia, Africa, India, or South America, for two weeks to a month. The program is meant to allow students the opportunity to use their school experience in a developing country. Students wishing to apply to Wharton's master's program must provide four essays, GRE or GMAT scores, along with general application materials. An interview may also be required.

University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in business. Students interested in obtaining a global-based education can pursue such an option through the school's many offerings. International internships, International Research, and study abroad options in Africa, Asia, are included in the program's options for those pursuing the undergraduate degree. The International Master of Business Administration program offers students opportunities to focus on the global issues affecting the business community. Students are required to obtain language education for Chinese, French, Italian, German, Arabic, Portuguese, Spanish or Japanese. Students must also perform an internship abroad for no more than 20 weeks, in order to gain experience in the business customs of another culture.
