The school, founded in 1881, is one of France's "grandes écoles," elite graduate schools attended by the country's top students. INSEAD is a private business school based in France with campuses in Singapore, Abu Dhabi and a research center in Israel. It is the third-ranked school on the 2009 "Financial Times" list of top business schools. More than 1,000 students are enrolled in the school's programs, which include MBA, Executive MBA and Ph.D. degrees.
