Dating back to 1968, Notre Dame University's Master of Divinity program educates students to become ministers in the Roman Catholic Church. The three-year program includes field experience, learning about Catholic traditions and training in pastoral care. The application deadline for fall admission is Feb. 1. All students receive a scholarship for the entire cost of tuition. Admission requirements include GRE scores of 500 or higher in verbal and quantitative, and 4.5 or higher in analytical writing. Notre Dame also requires recommendations from at least three instructors, 18 credits of philosophy and 12 hours in theology or religious studies.

Regent University's Master of Divinity program requires 90 credit hours of coursework to complete. You can choose between two concentrations: practical theology or missiology (missionary studies). To apply, you must have at least a four-year undergraduate degree.

According to the university's website, the program helps students develop their "ability to easily and consistently hear the voice of God." 50% of the coursework for the Master of Divinity may be from other colleges (25%) and from life experiences (25%.) The program's concentrations are in theology, ministry, and biblical studies.
