    • Dental programs available at Brevard Community College include dental assisting technology and dental hygiene. The Dental Assisting Technology and Management Program is for current dental assistants that are graduates of an American Dental Association (ADA) accredited program. Students will complete seminars and clinical experience as well as courses in office management, communication, dental psychology, and more. The program allows students to specialize their Associate of Science degree in areas such as educational methodologies, marketing of dental products, and dental practice set up and management. The dental hygiene program is open to all students and prepares students for national, state, or regional board examinations for license to practice. Students will receive extensive instruction in preclinical and clinical practice. Graduates of the program will receive an Associate of Science degree and will be eligible for a certification in expanded functions.

    • At the Florida Institute of Technology, located in Melbourne, undergraduate students are able to pursue a degree in a premedical biological sciences program.
