Baton Rouge Area LPN Training Schools

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are also known as Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs). They take care of the sick, wounded and disabled. LPNs have a variety of healthcare duties including checking patients' vital signs, administering injections, dressing wounds and teaching patients how to manage their conditions. For hospitalized patients, an LPN may assist in patient hygiene, bathing, feeding and walking. Typically, LPN training takes about one year.
