Construction Schools in Florida

Construction workers are responsible for building and preparing spaces for human use. Contractors typically oversee the workers and ensure a construction project is completed on time. In the state of Florida, it is not necessary for a contractor to hold a college degree; however, a contractor candidate must pass a licensing exam. Students can attend a community college to obtain an associate degree, or they may attend classes at an approved contractor's licensing school. After becoming licensed, contractors are required to complete continuing education credits.
