Construction Equipment Schools

Construction equipment schools educate and train students to repair and maintain the heavy equipment used in construction. Opportunities are available at the certificate, diploma and associate degree level. Certificates may be ideal for those with a degree in another field, while diploma programs are for students with no previous training. Associate degree programs include general education and core courses, in addition to offering graduates an opportunity to pursue a bachelor's degree in a related field. The National Center for Educational Statistics reports there were 282 diesel mechanic technicians schools in the U.S.
