List each of the science courses that you have taken on a piece of paper. These courses include science and mathematics courses such as, Biology, Geology, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics and Chemistry.
List the grades that you have received in the courses and their credit hours. Do not list courses that you have withdrawn from, or classes where were graded with a satisfactory or unsatisfactory instead of a letter grade. If you have retaken a class, you must include both grades from that class.
Convert each of the letter grades into numeric values. For example; A=4.0, B=3.0, C=2.0, D=1.0 and F=0.
Multiply the numeric values of your grades by the number of credit hours for each course. This gives you your overall grade points.
Add the grade points and credit hours for all of your courses. This gives you the total number of your grade points, and credit hours.
Divide the total number of quality points by the total number of credit hours attempted. This will give you your science GPA.
