Women's Art Scholarships

For women working in the fine arts, an art education is an important stepping stone in building a career as an artist. The cost of obtaining an art degree, however, can hinder the ability of many young women artists to reach their artistic potentials. Fortunately, there are a number of scholarship programs designed to help women artists excel in both academic and artistic pursuits.
  1. Women Contemporary Artists Scholarship

    • The Women Contemporary Artists Scholarship is open to female art students at selected art and design schools in the Sarasota, Florida, area. The program is open to sophomore and junior art students who demonstrate a commitment to the fine arts, as well as financial need. Recipients are selected based on work submitted in their portfolios, and the amount of the award varies based on the availability of funds.
