The Beinecke Scholarship provides substantial scholarship awards to graduate students currently pursuing an advanced arts degree. Recipients receive a $4,000 award upon beginning their studies and an additional $30,000 over the course of their graduate career. Students at participating schools must be nominated for the award and nominees must demonstrate superior academic ability and a record of financial need as an undergraduate.

The Stacy Scholarship is available to graduate students aged eighteen to thirty-five who specialize in the study and creation of conservative art, preferably in the classic western tradition. Artists are required to submit a sample of their work as part of the application as well as a thorough report of their work at the conclusion of the scholarship term. The amount of the scholarship varies from $1,000 to $5,000 and funds are awarded quarterly.

The Worldstudio AIGA Scholarship is available to graduate students who are studying fine or commercial art, design or architecture. Applicants must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and be enrolled or planning to enroll in an art program at an accredited college or university. The scholarships range from $2,000 to $3,000 with additional grand prize awards of $6,000 for selected students. Students with a demonstrated financial need are given priority in award selection.

The National Sculpture Society offers $2,000 scholarships to graduate students majoring in sculpture. Students specializing in figurative or realist sculpture are preferred, although all applications are considered. Applicants must provide slides or samples of their work and financial need is a contributing factor in awards decisions.

The University of Texas at San Antonio offers a number of scholarships for graduate art and art history students. Students must be enrolled full-time in a graduate art or art history program at the university and must be able to demonstrate proficiency in their specialty area through samples of their work. Art history students are also required to show their contribution to the field in the form of publication in accredited art history journals.
