Graduate Scholarships in Washington

Numerous scholarship and fellowship programs are available for graduate students who are pursuing degrees at colleges and universities in the state of Washington. Awards range from $2,000 to $50,000 and many are awarded based on financial need as well as academic achievement.   1. Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Graduate Scholarship Program

    • The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Graduate Scholarship is available to students at Washington State University who plan to pursue graduate and/or professional degrees. Approximately thirty graduate students are selected annually to receive up to $50,000 in scholarship funds. Awards are renewable for up to six years. To be eligible to receive the graduate scholarships, applicants must have previously received an undergraduate scholarship from the Foundation.

    The Scottish Rite Foundation Graduate Fellowships

    • The Scottish Rite Foundation Graduate Fellowship Program is open to residents of the state of Washington. They must be currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in graduate degree programs at accredited colleges and universities in the state. Awards range from $5,000 to $20,000 and the individual criteria for each fellowship program varies.

    Anne D. Maloof Scholarship Fund

    • The Anne D. Maloof Scholarship Fund is open to graduate students who are residents of Island, Kitsap, Thurston and Jefferson counties in the state of Washington. Scholarships are awarded solely on the basis of financial need and the amount of the award varies based on the availability of funds and individual need.

    Puget Sound Chapter of ASIS International Scholarships

    • The Puget Sound Chapter of the American Society for Industrial Security offers scholarship awards to graduate students who have an interest in the field of corporate and industrial security. Students are not required to be residents of the state of Washington to apply. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA to be considered and be attending an accredited college or university. Awards range from $500 to $1,500 and selection is based on academic achievement and commitment to a career in professional security.

    Weber-Riemcke-Schreiner Scholarship

    • The Weber-Riemcke-Schreiner Scholarship is open to graduate students attending Washington State University, the University of Washington, Western Washington University, Central Washington University or Eastern Washington University. To be considered, applicants must be Washington residents, have a 3.5 GPA and show demonstrated financial need. The amounts of the scholarships vary based on academic merit and individual need.
