Two hundred and twenty five students are awarded this grant annually.

The University of Saskatchewan sponsors a grant program titled the Queen Elizabeth II Centennial Aboriginal Scholarship. The program is designed to provide financial aid to students of First Nations or Métis heritage. Financial aid provided is to be determined by the school board. To be eligible, applicants need to be enrolled in an undergraduate program at the University of Saskatchewan.
