Krylon, a company that manufactures art supplies, makes scholarships available to art studentsthrough the Krylon Clear Choice Art Scholarship. The Clear Choice Art Scholarship is awarded in the amount of $1,000. This scholarship also provides recipients with a gift package of Krylon sprays and adhesives, and also provides the recipient's school with a large gift package and a $500 grant. Ten scholarships are awarded each year. Clear Chice Art Scholarships are not renewable. The annual deadline for application is May 31. Bergen Scholarship is awarded to a student 18 or younger to defray the cost of music study at an accredited conservatory or university in the United States. The Louis Armstrong Scholarship is awarded to support a student who is pursuing a degree in music at Queens College in New York. The Rudy Perez Songwriting Scholarship is awarded annually to a student of Hispanic/Latino origin who shows promise as a songwriter.
