Ohio State Nursing Scholarships

Several different nursing scholarships are available to current nurses and students enrolled in nursing degree programs in Ohio. The Ohio State University offers many different nursing scholarships to enrolled and accepted students through the College of Nursing, and students do not have to fill out a separate scholarship application to apply. For many nursing scholarships, all you need to do is fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which can be done online.
  1. College of Nursing Scholarships

    • The Ohio State University College of Nursing has a number of different scholarships available to nursing students. All newly admitted and currently enrolled students are considered for special eligibility and merit-based scholarship awards, while only students who have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1st of each year are eligible for need-based College of Nursing scholarships. Students have the option of filling out the College of Nursing Scholarship Information Sheet, which allows the College of Nursing to determine students' eligibility for specially allocated scholarship funds. Full-time enrolled students are most likely to receive funding, and newly admitted students must be admitted by the time financial aid decisions are made in the spring semester in order to be considered. Decisions about most College of Nursing scholarships are announced by June 15th.
