Indiana engineering students may apply for scholarships offered by the Indiana Society of Professional Engineers (ISPE). To apply, you must be a state resident who has completed at least half of the credits required to earn an engineering degree at an ABET-accredited Indiana school. Selected students will receive a minimum award of $750, and all awards are granted based on academic standing, extracurricular participation and letters of recommendation.

The Johnson County Community Foundation manages 56 separate scholarship funds for Indiana students who have ties to Johnson County and surrounding areas. Each scholarship has specific eligiblity requirements that must be met, and you may submit applications for multiple awards. Scholarship amounts range from $250 to $3,000, and selection is based on personal character, academic achievement and letters of recommendation.

The Frank O'Bannon Grant Program is administered by the Student Assistance Commission of Indiana and provides tuition funding for residents who are planning to enroll full-time in an undergraduate degree program in-state. High school graduates and GED recipients may apply and must be attending a participating college or university to be considered for a grant. All grant awards are need-based and vary for each student.

The Nursing Scholarship Fund provides tuition funding of up to $5,000 per year for Indiana nursing students who plan to work as a licensed nurse in-state after graduation. To be eligible, you must be enrolled at an approved Indiana nursing school, have a minimum 2.0 GPA and be able to demonstrate financial need. Scholarship awards may be renewed for up to six years of study and you must agree to work for a minimum of two years at an Indiana healthcare facility after graduation.

The State Student Assistance Commission of Indiana also sponsors grant awards for residents who are attending college on a part-time basis only. You may apply for a grant if you're enrolled in a certificate, associate's degree or bachelor's degree program at an eligible Indiana school. Grant awards are need-based, and you must be enrolled in no more than 12 credit hours to qualify.
