The Autism Society of America awards the CVS/All Kids Can Scholarship to people with autism who wish to pursue a post-secondary education at an accredited university or vocational study program. To be awarded the scholarship, the person with autism must have been admitted into a post-secondary educational program before the acceptance of the award. It is the only Autism Society award for which members of the Autism Society can nominate themselves.
Applicants must provide a cover page with their name, address, email address and phone number as well as two letters of recommendation, proof of being accepted into a post-secondary educational program, and a personal statement which details their study plans and goals. Winners receive $1000.

The Ohio Department of Education gives out the Ohio Autism Scholarship so that parents of autistic children can send their children to special education programs that better fit their needs. Children from preschool through grade 12 are eligible for the scholarship. The child must have an Individual Education Plan, or IEP, and provide documentation of the IEP to the Ohio Department of Education when submitting the scholarship application. The child also must be identified by his school district as having autism. Applicants can be awarded up to $20,000 per year.

There are several scholarships available for parents and professionals wishing to attend The Son-Rise programs, including the Timothy Wagner Memorial Fund and Karen & Joe Gorman Scholarship Fund. The Son-Rise programs at the Autism Treatment Center of America offer opportunities for the parents and teachers of children with autism to learn techniques and skills for helping their children develop to their fullest potential. The different Son-Rise Programs offer strategies for improving socialization skills and accommodating the challenges that arise with teaching children with autism, aged from preschool to high school students and older.
