According to UAB, the university will consider financial need as a factor in the scholarship decision.
The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship granted to a current UAB student majoring in accounting. According to UAB, the student, who may be a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior, must have a strong interest in a career in forensic accounting. The recipient must have at least a 2.5 grade point average.
