Scholarships for Psychology Majors

A career in psychology or the social sciences begins with a college degree, and with tuition costs on the rise, more students are turning to scholarships to offset some of the burden of funding their education. There are many scholarship programs that are offered for specific majors, including psychology, and undergraduates can't afford to miss out on these valuable opportunities.
  1. Mortensen Scholarships

    • The Mortensen Scholarship program at the University of Minnesota offers academic and study abroad scholarships for outstanding undergraduate students. Applicants must have completed at least 30 hours of study and have a record of academic achievement and active participation in extracurricular or volunteer activities related to the major. Both scholarship awards are valued at $1,000 and are nonrenewable.
