Chandler Early College provides non-traditional education to high school students, who may enroll as freshmen. The school gives students the option to enroll in college-level courses, and to complete the first year of an associate degree prior to graduation. Certification programs also are available, including certification in massage therapy or Microsoft products, for example.
Hill Learning Academy is an alternative school that is part of the Chandler Unified School District. Serving junior high and high school students, the school's curriculum covers math, science, English and social studies, either for full credit or as credit recovery. Students enrolled in Hill Learning Academy may continue to pursue extracurricular activities at their home school.
Chandler Preparatory Academy is a state-chartered public school, offering a comprehensive curriculum to students in sixth to 12th grade. The curriculum for the lower grades includes literature and composition, science, social studies, mathematics, Latin and fine arts. Seeking to prepare students for college, the high school curriculum includes honors courses in humane letters, life sciences, social studies and mathematics (geometry, trigonometry, algebra and calculus), as well as foreign languages and a senior thesis.
New Vistas Center for Education is located in the East Valley of Chandler. Serving preschool, kindergarten and the primary grades, the school's curriculum includes language arts, mathematics and science, as well as a science laboratory, social studies, computers, Spanish, music and physical education. Students are tested to determine their learning level, then placed in small groups, with a student-faculty ratio of 4 to 1.
