Massachusetts Alternative Schools

Alternative schools provide "at-risk" students the chance to continue their education while dealing with issues such as pregnancy, addiction, delinquency, suspension and other special needs. In Massachusetts, alternative education schools exist throughout the state. Students in these schools have access to specialized services and must follow the same academic standards that have been established for all students in Massachusetts.
