GED Programs in Utah

Obtaining a GED, or general education diploma, is a necessary step for many who may have dropped out of high school but would like to obtain credit for high school. A GED is usually a requirement to enter in to college or get a job. For this reason, Utah gives students access to GED preparation programs at low or no cost through their adult education program. Those who take the GED must be 16 years old and prepared to take a test in five subject areas: reading, writing, math, science and social sciences.
