How to Get Your Tabc License

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) is a regulatory body that oversees the training of the state's alcohol sellers and servers. Upon completing the training you will receive a TABC certification, which will allow you to sell and/or serve alchol in Texas. Many employers are starting to require their new employees to be TABC-certified. Those who earn the certification may also receive lower penalties should they face charges for violating a sales or service law.
