How to Get Your GED in New Hampshire

The New Hampshire General Educational Development program gives adults and out-of-school youth a chance to obtain a High School Equivalency Certificate. The New Hampshire GED exam is made up of five subject tests: writing, reading, science, social studies and mathematics. Most of the tests consist of multiple choice questions, with the exception of part two of the writing test, which requires an essay, and part two of the math test, which requires you to write out your answers to the math problems. The entire exam takes about seven hours to complete.
