The first thing to know about getting your GED online is that you cannot take the GED test online. However, you can prepare yourself for the GED Online.
To begin preparing to get your GED, look for free practice tests. Take these tests before you study. These tests will give you an honest assessment of how much you need to study. You can also focus your concentration on areas that you did poor in on the practice test.
After taking the practice GED test you can enroll in FREE GED online classes. Watch for websites that claim everything is free. Many will give you a practice test for free but require payment for online classes. I have included a link in the resource section for truly free GED classes.
If you feel that the online GED classes are not enough you can purchase GED prep books from most book stores. You might also be able to borrow one from your local library if they have any.
Local community colleges also offer free classes online and on campus. Contact your local community college to see if they offer any of these programs. Some colleges even offer a discount on the actual GED test if you take classes from them.
