How to Sign Up for Your GED for Free in San Diego

The GED (General Education Development) is a series of tests that demonstrates the person who has passed it has mastered the skills that would be required of him in high school. This test may be taken at any age and is legally the equivalent of obtaining a high school diploma. This test is often taken by those who dropped out of high school due to extenuating circumstances but would like to continue their education. Fee waivers are usually available for students in California until 60 days after a student's 18th birthday.
