California Hot Rock Massage Schools

Hot stone massage is a popular technique that involves placing water-warmed basalt stones on the body's pressure points and then massaging the area. The heat allows for greater muscle penetration during the massage as well as generally providing a relaxing effect on the recipient. Many massage schools now offer courses in hot stone massage therapy as part of their certification curriculum.
