    Manatee Technical Institute

    • Located in Bradenton, Florida, the Manatee Technical Institute provides an electrician continuing education program. It consists of 75 course hours and prepares you for the electrical license exam for masters and journeymen of the electrical profession. Study for the test with up to 20 other students and brush up on all of the subjects you'll face during your examination. Enrollment is limited for the electrician continuing education program.     Ridge Career Center

    • At the Ridge Career Center, you can choose to take your classes in electricity either during the day or in the evenings. Electricity students will learn about becoming an electrician helper, a residential electrician and a commercial electrician throughout their studies. Classes run from the middle of August until the beginning of next June. Classes at the Ridge Career Center are less expensive than taking an electrical course at a large university or public community college.
