• Offering its students courses in electrician training as well as electrical engineering, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign includes the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering on its main campus. Some of the courses taught in this department include the Introduction to Electric and Electronic Circuits, Electric and Electronics Laboratory, Analog Signal Processing and Green Electric Energy classes. • Located in Northern California, the University of California at Berkeley features the Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences department as a main component of the school curriculum. Focusing on creating classes that integrate fundamental electrical theories with pragmatic applications, this electrical department includes a connectivity lab that students can use to experiment with different ways to connect electrical components together while using less power than ever before. The electrical engineering course instructs students on electrical circuit repair, digital and analog design, electrical design and wiring installation techniques.

Coyne American Institute

• Designed to instruct its students on the fundamentals of electrical work such as electrical construction and essential workplace skills, the Coyne American Institute is located in Chicago, Illinois. This trade school hands out diplomas for all students completing the Electrical Construction and Maintenance course featured on campus. Some of the classes included in this program are the Electrical Theory and Applications course, the Electrical Test Equipment and Safety class and the Electronics Principles course. Financial aid allocated through federal government programs is available to all students that qualify.
