Electrical Engineering Trade Schools

Electrical engineers design and implement new technology to improve such articles as televisions, cars, and medical devices. The study of electrical engineering encompasses learning aspects of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. In this field, many technical and trade schools offer associate and certificate degree studies in electronics-related areas, which can prepare students for positions as technicians or salespersons. Or the students can proceed to study for an advanced degree.
  1. ATI Technical Training Center

    • With programs in health care, business, and welding, and a host of other areas, the ATI Technical Training Center has been a top choice for vocational training for more than 35 years. Today ATI has multiple campuses throughout the southwestern United States, including four in Florida. At ATI Miami, prospective electrical engineers can choose from two programs in electronics training. Students who enter the ATI Electronic Engineering Technology associate degree program will gain practical experience in areas that include computer operations, digital electronics, and telecommunications. ATI's Miami campus also hosts an electronics system technician certificate program, and basic craft skills. The center guides both students and graduates with career-planning services, as well as part-time job placement and job skills training.
