Dental Hygienist Tech Schools

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that the demand for dental hygienists in the United States will increase by 36 percent from 2008 through 2018. A number of technical colleges offer programs in the field, designed to prepare students for careers as hygienists through classroom coursework and clinical practice. Carrying the accreditation of the American Dental Association, these tech schools allow graduates to qualify for the state licensure necessary to work in the field of dental hygiene.
