The Delaware Technical and Community College Terry Campus offers several nursing programs: a practical nursing diploma, and associate nursing degree and an associate nursing degree with advanced placement. The associate nursing degree qualifies graduates to become registered nurses, and includes coursework in the care of adults, children and newborns as well as clinical experience. The advanced placement program is for licensed practical nurses interested in increasing their credentials with additional training to build on their experience. The practical nursing diploma trains enrolled students in nursing basics in preparation for the licensing examination to become an LPN.
