LPN Programs in South Carolina

A number of schools in South Carolina offer training programs in practical nursing, a field the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts will grow by 21 percent from 2008 through 2018. Carrying the approval of the South Carolina State Board of Nursing, these programs qualify students to take the examination necessary to become a licensed practical nurse (LPN). These schools combine classroom-based instruction with hands-on training to give students the requisite knowledge and skills to work for hospitals, long-term care facilities and home health care agencies.
