Greenville, South Carolina Community Colleges

Greenville is the sixth largest city in South Carolina and the largest city in "Upstate", located approximately half-way between Atlanta and Charlotte, North Carolina. Greenville is home to 11 colleges and technical schools, both private and public, and two art museums/galleries (the Greenville County Museum of Art and Bob Jones University Museum and Gallery) as well as the Roper Mountain Science Center.
  1. Greenville Technical College

    • Greenville Technical College was established in the early 1960s, now consisting of four-campuses and special centers off campus for commuting students. On average 15,000 students attend Greenville Technical Colleges enrolling in over 130 different programs in business, nursing and health, public service, engineering, industrial technologies and corporate/career development programs. Greenville Technical College also offers a variety of short courses and online courses (or a combination of online and on-campus courses).

    ECPI College of Technology

    • ECPI College of Technology is a private community college which offers associate's degrees and bachelor's degrees in business studies, technology, health science and culinary arts. Campuses are based in Charleston, Columbia and Greenville but courses are relatively the same on all campuses. The college focuses on delivering career-based programs and aims to support students directly into a career; programs are job-orientated, providing hands-on experience to students as well as an educational background in the subject. ECPI College of Technology is an ideal college for students looking to obtain a career after their college education.

    Brown Mackie College

    • Brown Mackie College offers career-orientated programs to help students develop entry-level skills and knowledge to enter into their chosen career. The college offers a range of associate's degree and, for some programs, a bachelor's degree. Areas of study at Brown Mackie College include business, healthcare and wellness, legal studies and technology based courses. Courses are delivered flexible to students, often on a part-time basis, with a choice of day or evening classes.

    Virginia College

    • Virginia College offers associate's, bachelor's degrees and master's degrees (mainly in business administration), allowing students to continue with their education at the college if desired. Programs are career-focused but still provide students with the knowledge and educational background to progress to a bachelor's degree; subject areas include business and office, cosmetology, health and medicine, medical billing, medical office and therapeutic massage programs. Courses are delivered flexibly on a part-time or full-time basis either through evening classes, day classes or online courses.
