Autobody Tech Schools

Auto body technicians, also called collision repair technicians, specialize in repairing dents or damages of all types of vehicles. The majority of these technicians work with cars and small trucks, however, they may also work with large trucks, buses or tractor trailers. Entrance into the field requires a high school diploma or GED, but most employers prefer job candidates with formal training. This may include a certificate or an associate degree, which are offered in trade, technical or community colleges in addition to a small number of universities across the country.
