The Tennessee Technology Center was named the "Exemplary Training Provider of the Year" in 2004 by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission for students enrolled through the Workforce Investment Act. The Center offers nine full-time training programs that are completed in 12 to 18 months. Diplomas includes automotive and diesel, business and computer technology, electricity and electronics, HVAC and refrigeration, millwright, pipefitting, practical nursing and welding. Nontraditional programs are also taught on an as-needed basis.
