The college was founded in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1982 and established in Orlando in 1998. It was formerly called the High-Tech Institute. Today, it offers a range of subjects to choose from and its focus is on health care and technology.
Training programs are designed to help graduates become professionals in the industry of choice. Programs offered at the Orlando location include computer networking and security; pharmacy technician; dental assistant; medical assistant; medical billing and coding; and limited scope X-ray technician. Students can earn an accredited Bachelor of Science or associate degree or a diploma. Admission requirements include the ability to speak fluent English, a passing score on the entrance assessment test and a high school diploma or GED.
Founded in 1982, Lincoln College of Technology is located in West Palm Beach and offers 18- to 24-month associate degree programs and a choice of continuing education certificates for business professionals. It also offers nine- and 12-month diploma programs for those who wish to pursue a career path and want to graduate quickly.
