Minneapolis Community and Technical College offers a variety of training programs, from three-month technical certificates and diplomas to two-year associate degrees. Fields of study include air traffic control, phlebotomy, polysomnographic technology, computer forensics, welding and metal fabrication, construction electricity, barbering, and heating ventilation. Students may be eligible for work-study programs, loans, grants, and scholarships. On-campus activities include computer labs and a library, sports, student government, and clubs such as the Apparel Technologies Club, Anime Club, Bike Collective, Science Fiction and Fantasy Club, and the Writer's Group.

Dunwoody College of Technology is the only non-profit technical college in the Midwest. Students may earn certificates, diplomas, associate degrees, and bachelor's degrees in fields such as automotive technology, robotics, building design construction, computer technology, graphics, health sciences, and applied management. On-campus services include a women's center, child care, personal counseling, addictions help, academic advising, scholarships and financial aid. Enroll in the High Tech Institute to earn an associate degree or diploma in a variety of fields, including pharmacy technology, X-ray technology, accounting, business management, surgical technology, massage therapy, and medical billing and coding. The High Tech Institute offers career training and assistance with obtaining a job after graduation; it will also help students find part-time work while they are still enrolled. The school offers academic tutoring, grants, military benefits, loans, and activities such as student mixers, picnics, socials, and intramural sports.
