The Midwest Truck Driving School provides students with the education needed to drive big rigs in an intensive four-week program. Students can complete a course that is centered on the classroom or the open road. Training includes information on how to obtain jobs in the field in addition to Department of Transportation regulations, truck safety, hazardous materials transportation, double and triple decker trucks, log books, and map reading. Classes are offered during the week and on weekends.

The Recording Institute of Detroit offers training for the student who would like to get involved in the technical side of making music. Courses in sound engineering and music production last from two weeks to nine months. The Recording Institute of Detroit also offers an internship program that takes between one and six months to complete. Class sizes are kept small (student-teacher ratio averages 10 to one).
