The school is home to nearly 17,000 students and offers an Associate of Applied Science degree program in computer-aided drafting. Located approximately 20 miles north of Miami in the town of Dania, Key College is a private, for-profit vocational school, which boasted a three-year-running 100 percent job placement rate for graduates as of March 2010, according to the school's website. The college offers a certificate program in computer-aided drafting and design with a specialized employer warranty; if any graduate's skills are deemed inadequate by their employers, Key College will re-train her at no cost to the student or her employer. A high school diploma or GED and scores from the SAT, ACT or a school-developed admission examination are required for students who wish to be considered for admission to the school. As a part of the course requirements for the drafting program, students must complete an internship in the field.
