Specializing exclusively in technician training for the automotive and marine service industries, Automotive Training Center is located in the heart of Chester County. Admissions occur several times throughout the year. Program for automotive technician include advanced automotive technology, specialized automotive technology, automotive technology and automotive technology. Students choose to study in the field of marine services where jobs may include field service representative, personal watercraft manager or marine electrician. Marine programs include Marine Service Technology and Marine Service Technology.
Tutoring is available to all as the instructors are available for a minimum of one hour after or before class starts to assist students. Automotive Training Center provides a career service department to assist in job placement, while also assisting students in procuring part-time employment during enrollment. Financial aid and scholarships are available.
Located in Eagleview Corporate Park, Universal Technical Institute is a private technical program which offers Master Certified post-secondary technical education training. Offering programs in automotive technology, diesel and industrial technology, collision repair and refinish technology training,
and automotive, diesel, and industrial technology. Universal Technical Institute further assists students obtaining internships and part-time jobs while enrolled, and post-graduation employment by offering courses in career development, professional resume development and offering access to a nationwide job database. Financial aid is available to students who qualify.
Offering two campuses in Chester County, The Center for Arts & Technology provides career and technical high school training for students residing in the Exton region. CAT Brandywine is located in Coatesville in central Chester County. CAT Pickering is located in Phoenixville in northern Chester County. High school students may choose either a full-day program or a half-day program. Technical programs offered include animal science and technology, automotive, cosmetology, culinary arts, electrical occupations, commercial and graphic arts, animal sciences, welding and metals arts, and health occupations. Career placement and financial aid are available.
The Chester County Technical College High School, is a joint venture of the Chester County Intermediate Unit and Delaware County Community College. This program offers qualifying high school students career and technical programs, college students may earn an associate degree through this program as well.
